Bullet proof
These are simple meters with one function that they do well. We have 15 of these around the plant and I cannot recall replacing one yet.

FTP-4107A-P Flow Meter
This flow meter comes with absolutely no documentation and it also doesn't exist on the web. Everyone I talked to at Omega insisted it had three wires when it only had two for pulse output. I finally got a hold of someone who had some suggestions on how to hook it up and I ultimately got it working. Other than that, it seems to be a good product.

Small Turbine meter
This meter has a rotating face, which means you can set it to view from any angle. Most other meters do not. I also like the small physical size. My only wish would be to have the readout numbers slightly larger. That and mark if the "gallons" are US or IMP gallons...
Otherwise really like this meter

Can this flow meter be reset? We want to run water through it 40 liters at a time (we can do the conversion to gpm if liters is not an option) and then reset the total after each 40 liter fill.
Thank you for your inquiry! The totalizer on these units cannot be reset and would not be well suited if a reset was needed for batch filling. Please feel free to contact us at flow@omega.com to discuss alternate options for this application.

can we time/date stamp totalized flow data using Pulse output so we can determine when a high water usage event has occurred, can we use a 9 volt battery to power for pulse output
Thank you for your inquiry. Date/time stamping would be a function of the data logger that you would use this meter with. This meter only generates the pulses. A 9V battery would be a sufficient power supply for this meter.
