Does this model store data on it, or is the separate Windows program required in order to log the data over time?

No internal memory for storage is available for this model. Requires software running on a PC to log data.

On the Omega HH802W Thermometer, how do I: 1. Turn Off the Auto Power Off (APO) mode? 2. Turn On the APO mode? 3. Adjust the time of the APO mode?

To turn off the APO you need to hold the power button for > 6 seconds and it will indicate on display APO off. To turn it back on shut the meter off and repower after a few seconds and there is no time adjustment for APO.

What could be the problem of " Time Out" occur during the temperature recording?

A Time Out error usually indicates communication connection was lost between the meter and PC during recording. Check for loose fittings, bad communication cable or low battery on the meter as possible culprits.
