Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked well. I was able to apply and start making measurements right away. It has been many years since I have applied a strain gauge, but the refresher video and adhesive from Omega was a help.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They work, but with some installation issues These strain gauges work reasonably well, but with lower mechanical gain than some other brands. Their solder pads are actually quite difficult to solder to, and multiple calls to their technical help line went unanswered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for student use ribbon leads are perfect for student labs - no need to solder, and no long lengths of wire hanging on the parts. Pug alligator clipped leads on the DAQ, and ready to roll.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SGD-1.5/120-LY11 Review Gauges arrived on time, as I had to expedite shipping. They work excellent as expected from Omega products. I am a student working on an engineering project and applied the gauges to aluminum and interfaced with an Arduino to collect strain measurements under varying loads. Would recommend if you're looking for a small/medium strain gauge that is easy to apply to most materials.
