Chart recorder
I bought this about a month ago. It's a nice unit, but the chart skips. I don't get a continuous mark for 24 hours.

Have one in continuous operation for over 14 years...still running great. Easy to use and setup. Appropriate for an indoor installation.

Never use them!
We bought four of them. None of them is working satisfactory. Pen is vibrating and very thick line is generated. Actual reading is difficult to find out.
It uses black pen and chart lines are dark brown, so you can not visualize properly actual reading line.
It stops recording in between and again start during week cycle.
I would never use it again.

Can the read temperature be adjusted? (we recently had ours calibrated and it's not reading correctly now, and calibrations won't be for another year or so). We have 3 running in water baths all at the same temperature and one is reading a full degree out
Thank you for your inquiry. There is no temperature adjustment on the CT87P Pressure Recorder.

Can the CT87P be used to measure steam pressure and is a pigtail required between steam pipe fitting and recorder sensor.
Thank you for the request. You would need to use "wet leg" between the steam line and sensor. Need to prevent high temperature steam contact with sensor. Please contact PRESSURE@DWYEROMEGA.COM for more details.

Can I order paper charts?
Yes. There are extra chart available in 0 to 50. 0 to 150 and 0 to 500 PSI pressure ranges in 6 hour, 24 hour, 7 day or 31 day chart speed range. See the full pdf file datasheet for ordering info

Can it be used to record water pressures of a water distribution pipe?
Dear Hilo, yes you may as long as the pressure is within the operating pressure range, also this is rated only for steady static pressure.
