What is OAL, centers from the corner on both holes?? (Dimensions is general)
Hi Frank,
The holes are 1.6" on centers from each other. The hole edge is 0.4" from the sides and 0.2" on center from top edge of the mounting flange. A drawing of the RLC161000 can be found on the specs page for that heater.

Considering the self regulating characteristics of this unit can it be operated without a thermostat and is the operating life substantially reduced by this style of operation?
There should be no reduction in life expectancy as it is designed to increase the PTC Resistance as it heats and operate at a substantially reduced power output.
