HBA-heater

Incoloy nozzle and band HBA heaters offer reliable heating solutions with maximum temperatures up to 1000°F. Available in 1" to 12.5" inner diameters, the HBA Series features one-piece nozzle heaters with 42" leads and stainless steel clamps, while the HBT Series includes rugged two-piece band heaters rated to 900°F with terminal posts for power connection. Designed for durability and fast delivery.

Offers Longer Life than mica nozzle heaters.
Cost less to operate. Heats up faster and provides more uniform heat distribution. More contact surface than other refractory insulated nozzle heaters.

Will not short out from fouling. The 42" leads are protected by a 36" long closely woven stainless steel sheath. No exposed electrical connections, and element is sealed to prevent entrance of contaminates.

Easier to install. Clamp and heater are separate items and may be applied from either side.

Construction: A 1/2 wide x .200" thick, Incoloy sheath (max. sheath temperature is 1500 °F), magnesium oxide insulated strip heater is tightly spiraled to provide maximum heat transfer to the work. The lead wires are brazed to the heater terminal pins, insulated and covered with heavy duty stainless steel outer braiding to provide mechanical protection.
