A better design
In our test chambers TC connectors are exposed to wide temperature swings. With the connector we previously used, the TC wire is wrapped around a screw used for securing the wire. With this design the TC wire and screw become loose over time from the changes in temperature. The design of the Omega connector secures the TC wire between two nonrotating surfaces that are compressed with a screw. We have used the Omega connectors for over two years now and no longer have problems with loose TC connections.

I bought this a little over a month ago, the male and female plugs work perfectly. Easy to attach wires and have rubber fitting to keep moisture out. Would buy again

Great (Large Body) connectors
I really like these connectors, and use them when instrumenting larger equipment for testing. They are large enough to handle easily when connecting Tc's to them.
