The wire is fine, however the outer sheathing isn't brown, it's green. I was assured that this would come in Green and White for the chromel/alumel and the sheathing would be brown.

Good tc wire
These K thermocouples are different than pictured. They are a parallel rip design (no external jacket). The insulation is yellow and one side has a red stripe. They strip easily. If you are pulling wire through conduit get a jacketed design but if you meter is nearby the UUT then I recommend these. They are very easy to work with. I've also bought these in T thermocouples in the past. They are the same except the insulation is blue.

Exactly as advertised. The insulation is a little tricky to strip, but that is expected with the high temperature rating. The wire is very stiff as well, which makes it a little more difficult to work with when routing wiring.

Superior Tolerance and Corrosion Resistance
I have been using this K-Type thermocouple wire in my R&D Engineering Lab for over 6 years. I am slowly replacing old J-Type wire with this K-Type wire as the J-Type is showing corrosion in areas where moisture is more prevalent. Since we build humidifiers in the lab, resistance to corrosion is key. And, this K-Type wire has shown zero signs of corrosion because of the bi-metals used. It is very easy to order online with Omega and their e-commerce interface is easy to use and simple to compare specs with other available products. They're telephone customer service is superior as well. I have always got the technical support I need, and quickly.

How many times it can be used at average temp around 750 °C with insulation of nextel cermaic ? Is it (nextel cermaic) flexible enough to bend & what are effects of high temp around 1000 °C on it?
Thank you for the inquiry. This product has Nextel ceramic fiber which is not suitable for bending applications. The ceramic fibers used in the material become brittle after exposure to high temps. If you must use this material for bending app please consider the following with Inconel overbraid which keeps the fibers in place.

How can we strip the wires of GG-K-24S-1000? Is there any particular tool/stripping procedure available? My customer is using the normal wire stripper and the insulation also come off.

We do not have a specification for loss of accuracy based on the length of the run of the wire. The general rule is to keep the Resistance under 100 Ohms but this is for the instrumentation not accuracy.
